How it is calculated, for each experience gap vs the ideal leader: Buying cost = gap × 17% (MAGZ 5-year average saving) × annual spend · Production stops = gap × stop days with no expertise × tons produced per day × contribution margin per ton (the lost margin, as in MAGZ Cockpit). Fixed in this example: 300 production days a year and 60 stop days a year with no sourcing expertise. % of purchases = annual loss ÷ (polymer bought × delivered price). The ideal leader is the zero line.
MAGZ adds no new machinery: every risk ends in one of the six settings the Cockpit already reads, so its effect on price, sources, cover and timing is calculated the same way as any other market change, and every change is logged.
Route risk is also rated by origin region, from local supply to routes through Hormuz.
